At Charanvandan Foundation (also known as “Charanvandan”) (https://charanvandan.com/), we deeply value the generosity of our donors and supporters. Your contributions help us serve animal welfare , temple renovation, disaster relief, and the poor and needy. We strive for transparency and trust across all interactions, including donations and refunds.
Who We Are
- CHARANVANDAN FOUNDATION (also known as “Charanvandan”) – a non-profit/NGO (CIN: U84120UP2025NPL229100), registered at: C/O Asha Pandey, N14/80, 2A Sarai Nandan, Sunderpur, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh – 221005. In this Policy, “Charanvandan Foundation”, “Charanvandan”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the same entity.
Definitions
- Organization / We / Us: Refers to Charanvandan Foundation (Charanvandan).
- Donations: Monetary or in-kind contributions to support campaigns hosted on the Website.
- Service / Website: The website and services accessible via https://charanvandan.com/.
- You / Donor: The individual or organization making a donation or contribution.
Donation Refund Policy
We value every donation as it directly supports ongoing charitable work. Refunds for donations are generally not encouraged since funds may be committed quickly to urgent causes. However, refunds will be considered under exceptional circumstances such as:
- Duplicate transaction (same amount charged more than once)
- Clearly demonstrable technical error in payment processing
- Wrong amount charged due to gateway error
Conditions for Refunds
- The refund request is raised within 7 calendar days from the date of donation.
- Your request includes valid details: donor name, transaction/date, amount, and reason.
- Refunds are not applicable where funds have already been utilized or irrevocably committed to the beneficiary/campaign.

Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days. Any gateway timelines or bank settlement periods are outside our control.
Recurring (Monthly) Donations
You may cancel a recurring donation anytime by contacting us at least 7 days before the next scheduled charge. Cancellations take effect for future cycles only; amounts already charged will follow the refund policy above.
In-Kind Donations
We also accept in-kind contributions (e.g., fodder, food, educational materials, medical supplies). Please note:
- In-kind donations are not returnable once delivered/accepted.
- Donors are encouraged to confirm suitability and delivery logistics before sending items.
Payment Processing & Security
Donations are processed through secure third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay). We do not store card or net-banking details on our servers. Gateway and banking policies apply in addition to this policy.
