Every day, countless stray and injured dogs in Varanasi suffer without proper medical care, shelter, or nourishment. At Pashudhara Jeevrakshak Animal Care Foundation, we believe every dog deserves a second chance. With your support, we aim to expand our shelter, establish a dedicated ICU ward, and build a general ward to ensure no dog is left behind.
Why We Need Your Support
- ICU Ward for Critical Cases: Severely injured and sick dogs often require intensive medical attention. An ICU will provide life-saving treatments with specialized equipment and round-the-clock care.
- General Ward for Recovery: After receiving treatment, dogs need a safe space to recover and regain their strength. Our general ward will offer them comfort and proper supervision.
- Shelter Expansion: Our current shelter is overcrowded, limiting our ability to rescue and care for more dogs. An expanded space means we can provide refuge to more strays and abandoned pets.

Raju was found lying on the roadside, severely injured and unable to move. Thanks to the immediate care from our dedicated team, he underwent successful surgery. But without proper post-operative care, his chances of survival were slim. With a fully equipped ICU ward and recovery space, dogs like Raju will receive the critical care they need.
