Story

Chaitra Navratri is celebrated for nine days and each of the nine days is dedicated to nine different
incarnations of Goddess Durga. It is believed that Goddess Durga comes from heaven to be with her
devotees during this time, and hence it is considered an auspicious time. Chaitra Navratri Navratri
has great significance in Hindu religion. Chaitra Navratri is celebrated in Chaitra (month of March
April), it is called Chaitra Navratri. Nine forms of Durga are worshiped in Navratri.
The holy days of Navratri are going on. The holy festival of
Navratri has great importance in Hindu religion. This great festival of Navratri is celebrated with
great pomp across the country. During this period, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped.
During Navratri, it is mandatory to perform Havan along with worshiping Goddess Durga. It is
believed that Navratri worship is not completed without Havan. Havan is performed on Ashtami
and Navami with the worship of Maa Mahagauri. Ashtami Tithi is considered very important for the
worship of Goddess Durga. On this day, the new forms of Maa Goddess are invoked and devotees
worship the Goddess and perform Havan with great devotion. It is said that any devotee who offers
havan to the new forms of Goddess with devotion, all his wishes are fulfilled and he receives special
blessings of Goddess Durga.

Maha Ashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Navratri and Mata
Mahagauri is worshipped. This time Ashtami Tithi of Chaitra Shukla will be celebrated on 16 April
2024. Ashtami Tithi is very effective and useful for achieving victory. Ashtami Tithi is also very
important for the power of Maa Durga. The flow of energy on this day gives a person the strength to
live life and the ability to move forward from adverse situations.
